R.C.D Espanyol was founded in 1900 under the name of Sociedad Espanola de Football, being one of the oldest sports clubs in Europe. Current name was given a year after. Club’s colours are white,blue and yellow; traditionally white and blue striped jerseys with white shorts. Yellow colour are used in away matches when appropriate.
