Closing game of the matchday for Italian Serie A and it is the Rome derby!
Both teams are not in a very good shape, especially Lazio are struggling in the relegation zone while Roma having too many up and downs but at least up for the race for a Champions League place.
After the return of the captain Totti, Roma might seem bit more organized and improved but still they lack the team style play and a bit far from being reliable.
Lazio on the other hand are having really hard days both on and off the pitch. They had protests by the supporters after their return from Europa League match.
As for the prediction; I think Roma will have this game in hand if they at least perform above average but as mentioned above they are not reliable. Lazio players are also looking for a way to say sorry to their fans by getting a result here but still they lack the confidence and morale. They will trust the fever of the derby will boost their performance; it will add extra strength to them but definately not a good reasoning enough to back them. Therefore, the wisest choice seems like to go for a goal prediction. I expect some goals here from two teams that are urgently looking to improve their general performance.

One of the most important matches of the matchday and it is a derby between the red-blues Genoa and blue-ringed Sampdoria.
Genoa are coming from a defeat at Livorno on the last matchday and struggling at the moment. They had some big problems in the team defence and having hard times to keep it together when the things go wrong. These critisims are fair because they have the potential to do a lot better job and they had examples of such games in this season. The thing is; they are not consistent and reliable, at all.
Sampdoria on the other hand are coming from a Chievo win which could have easily gone to the opponents side in another day. The fair outcome should have been something other than a Sampdoria win if to put it straight. Still, they won and winning has always a good effect on the team morale, especially if you are coming from a three-match run without a win and especially without producing any positive approach to the matches.
Genoa will be without Mesta due to suspension while Sampdoria will miss Tissone due to injury. Comparing the missing lists of both teams; Genoa are the side who will suffer more as Mesta is quite an important player for them.
As for prediction; I expect a close game here and unlikely the general view; I am expecting some goals. Genoa’s poor defence and Sampdoria’s fit attackers plus the derby fever can easily produce some goals. If to go for a result prediction; my vote would go to a double chance in favor of Sampdoria.

Inter have been performing quite well. After adopting Sneijder in the team they are now even better for creativity wise. Stankovic also adding a lot both defensively and offensively. Link between the midfield and the forward line seems working. Inter seems to have no problems at the moment.
Roma on the other hand is struggling almost in every area. They will be without Totti, again. Goalkeeper Doni is doubtful. Even when Roma are full team they can’t just give the message that they know what they are doing. They have some skillful players but all lack in consistency and with these important missings in hand, they seem unable to cope with Inter.
I will go for a comfortable win for Inter as the first choice, then an “over” is highly possible.
