Liverpool are showing signs of improvement especially in the Stoke and Spurs games. Today, they will have Gerrard available in the squad as well.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are having troubles to settle a starting line-up, with the technical staff trying several players in several positions to find the best fit. This definitely damages the team harmony.

As for the prediction I don’t think Liverpool will blow away the chance to sneak into the top 4 after a win in this game. After all, they are well aware of the importance of winning such games against lower tabled teams to stay at the top flight. I ‘ll go for a comfortable Liverpool win.

Norwich City are a decent side with high chances of promoting this season with a deep and balanced squad, no doubt about that. They have been performing pretty impressive on the pitch and scoring have never been a problem as they scored 60 goals in 27 matches. They are having a six win in a row in the league. Related to the prediction; better to underline that they also have a habit of scoring easily at the final third period of the games.

Walsall are having up and downs this season. They have above the average defense in the league and in some games they showed great examples of defensive style. They seem stucked in the mid table with a little hope for a play-off spot.

We have an interesting and a valuable information that can direct our pick for this game; Norwich played 27 matches this season in England League One and scored in 26 of them. The only match Norwich City weren’t able to score was against Walsall with a 0-0 draw in the Norwich venue. Statistics not always the best thing to shape your toughts in prediction but this one is really interesting and should be considered as an important factor for this one.

As for the prediction, I will go for a draw at the first half. Wallsall will definitely be a tough opponent for Norwich and their defensive approach in this game might work for them like it did in the first clash in the league between these two teams. I would even go for a draw but the effective Norwich offense especially at the final third period of the game is not something easy to ignore . Going for a draw at half time looks tempting.

Olympiakos have not been performing expectedly well enough, recently. They have been looking for some fresh signings to boost their motivation and performance and tranaferred their former player Lua Lua. Their coach Zico had some criticisms especially in the last matchdays of first half for using some players at different positions that they are not used to.

AEK on the other hand are struggling financially and not having the best of seasons. Players seem unmotivated and the only realistic aim left is to grab a place to secure a European Cups. Game’s being a derby might give some motivation but still they need more than motivation here; quality; and that’s what the squad miss this season.

As for prediction I am not expecting so many goals here. It is a derby anyway and we all know how derbies played in the Greece league. Olympiakos would be very happy with a 1-0 even if they score an early goal, they unlikely will keep attacking. They probably won’t risk; If they lose here they will probably be five points behind the leader Panathinaikos; that’s a gap hard to overcome in Greece league even it is early days in the second half, therefore, they will be looking for a win without any extra effort.

Strasbourg have not been performing well enough but better not to ignore their recent form at their home matches. The bad news here is they will have to do without their key scorer Fauvergue and defender Bellaid due to suspension. Fauvergue in a such squad with limited quality means a lot. Addition to these important missings their creative midfielder Gargorov has also a slight injury which leaves Strasbourg with really few offensive power.

Guingamp on the other hand also having ups and downs but looked a level above the Strasbourg team up to now. They have been producing some good results lately and having an unbeaten run of four matches and seemed to find the rhythm.

As for the prediction, I am expecting Strasbourg to struggle a lot in finding a way for a win with all the missings. Guingamp is already a balanced and on form team which makes the whole picture even worse for Strasbourg. I ‘ll go for a double chance in favor of Guingamp.

Kayserispor is flying high in the Turkish Super League this season and if they win this game they will be at the top of the league infront of the Istanbul giants; Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Besiktas.

Istanbul BB is an unreliable team that has ups and downs. They have young and talented squad and an above average coach which suits the team well but team as a whole is pretty unexperienced and actually they are without any motives. Even they are an Istanbul team, better not to mixed them with the giants mentioned above. Istanbul BB have no fan base and playing their games to a few crowd at most of their home matches. So, a fan advantage is out of question here.

Kayserispor have a very balanced team. They have been working with the same coach and technical staff for years and they are getting the results of it. They have ex-Benfica promising attacker Ariza Makukula and he is the top scorer of the league with 12 goals. At last, he is performing at his true potential after playing in many teams. Ex-Boca promising attacker Franco Cangele is his partner and they are doing a great job. Another highly rated player they have is Cesar Toledo, a player which had a good impact in the Spanish La Liga a few years ago. Turkish U-21 international Gokhan Emreciksin, the ex-Fenerbahce winger is also on top form and adding a great value to the team.

As for prediction; Kayserispor players are very motivated and enjoying their play. Playing against Istanbul BB is not a walk on the park but the quality difference between the squads and the motivational factors are making them favourites. Going for a Kayserispor win is really tempting, for a safer choice a double chance would make sense as the odds are also pretty acceptable for such choice.

Sunderland will have Portsmouth to welcome in the Stadium of Light. Hosts are having a good run at their home and will be looking to continue their good form.

Portsmouth have been dealing with some financial situations recently and it have been effecting the players and their training mood. Things look like to be sorted out soon though. Team is at the bottom and things are not looking good on the pitch, too. New technical staff and the players are well aware of that and they will have the motivation from that point of view. They showed signs of it on the last matchday against Burnley. Plus they will nearly have a full squad available to choose from, just Diop have a slight injury and is doubtful.

Sunderland on the other hand are not that lucky. They will be missing some important players due the suspension and injury; mainly from the defensive line. Ferdinand and Mensah will be out and Zenden had an harmstring injury lately plus Bardsley and Richardson are also suspended. Cattermole is also still out.

As for the prediction; All the missings Sunderland have make this match a tricky one. Hosts are playing well at their venue, thats right, but in these kind of situations with limited squad; overconfidence might be harmful. Not too strong but I smell an upset for hosts.

Stoke City will host Wigan in the English Premier League. Both teams stay above the relegation zone but considering the recent forms; no one can guarantee they will stay up the line in the following weeks.

Stoke City have been quite unpredictable this season. When people think they are about to keep playing and producing results; they fail and when it looks like they are falling hard; they rise. Not a good data when it comes to prediction. Stoke City may be without thir attacker Beattie due to a slight injury. Since we mentioned Beattie; he had an argument with the manager after the last matchday against Arsenal and seems like he won’t be in the manager’s plan for a while, anyway.

Wigan on the other hand are really having hard times to organize their defence. Looks like they just can’t stop conceding and today their main goalkeeper Kirkland is doubtful. What a news for a team that already has defensive problems… Plus they will have to do without their midfielder Thomas.

As for prediction; hard to tell we will have an action pack game here. I expect a low scoring game. Even the visitors have a terrible defensive organization; Stoke City is not a goal scoring machine, anyway. Stoke City will also pay attention to their defensive organization as the visitors will have their talented attacker Rodallega to rely on. Well, looks like the outcome result would be a narrow one most likely in favor of Stoke City but wise choice would be to go for a goal prediction in a match between two unreliable sides.

Galatasaray have been struggling in the Turkish Super League and remain 4th in the standings. Antalyaspor on the other hand placed 10th and these two teams have nine point difference between them.

Galatasaray haven’t won since three matches and coach Rijkaard is under criticism. The good run in the Europa League is his only saviour. As mentioned in some predictions about Galatasaray here; they lack quality in their defence and central midfield area. Their quality in offence thus can not reach its potential. Now they even miss their one of regular central defenders Zan due to injury. Things look not so good from that point of view.

Antalyaspor are a decent side and they seemed like a balanced team which is capable of counter attacking when necessary. They may not have a great support advantage but their stadium will probably be full.

As for prediction; I expect a good match especially in the flanks both team will have their times to create chances. Galatasaray with more quality in offence but clumsy defence and Antalyaspor with a more balanced defense and midfield plus a decent potential of counter attack ability might produce some goals tonight. I’ll go for goals prediction here.
