Cesena have been flying high in Italian Serie B this season. They have lost only once in the regular season and that was the opening match for the season against Reggina. Having a single defeat in a tough and balanced league like Serie B is really something to underline.

Torino on the other hand are below expectations up to now. They were named one of the strongest conterders for promotion in pre-season but they haven’t been convincing, recently. The main reason behind their under performing is the poor home records and some of the players’ being out of form such as former West Ham attacker Di Michele. He is on the verge of being dropped from the starting line up.

This picture leads us to a prediction in the favor of Cesena but there are some important points to be mentioned. Cesena will be without their experienced and influencer goalkeeper Antonioli plus their main attackers Bucchi and Djuric. Especially Bucchi is a very important part of the team with Antonioli. These players are nearly the main reasons in Cesena’s impressive run this season and now they are out for this match.

Torino will be missing Samuel in the midfield due to a slight injury (flu) but there are some promising young midfielders that can replace him in the squad.

Torino with the fan pressure in a below expectations performance up to now will be OK with a point against a promotion contender at away while Cesena would also be fine if they won’t lose this  game against one of their opponents in the race when they miss their most important players.

As for the prediction, considering all the facts mentioned above; I will go for a draw.
