Birmingham – Fulham, Match Preview – English Premier League
Birmingham have been doing well recently after having draws against Manchester City and Liverpool matches respectively in which they were not favourites and did well against the odds.
Fulham on the other hand are a decent side and a very balanced team. They have an unbeaten run of 5 games in the English Premier League.
Birmingham will welcome Barry Ferguson after suspension. Fulham will welcome Danny Murphy after recovering his injury. Both teams have no suspended players for this match.
Birmingham’s recent run of good results against tough teams may give the idea that they are about to win but as mentioned above they were not favourites in those clashes and they used the advantage of being underdogs pretty well. Now, people expect them to win after those good performances but it is a well known fact that teams like Birmingham who have an average squad quality are likely to struggle when they suddenly become favourites after being the underdogs in recent matches. Fulham are a tough nut to crack, anyway.
I am expecting a close game and a narrow win. For the prediction; I’ll for for a double chance in favor of Fulham.
